Hello, today I got something to share with everyone, it’s the VAIO UX50 micro computer. One of the best portable computer I ever got.
The UX50 was released in Japan around the year 2006 to 2007 and it’s price is around $1600 or more. But I got the semi used version for just $300
Everything is working like new. This pc has TOUCHSCREEN, double camera, one in front and one in the back. What I like the most of all is the performance.
Specs
CPU: Genuine Intel U1300 1.06GHz
RAM: 504MB, 786MHz
HDD: 40GB
It may seen slow but trust me it runs Windows XP SP3 pretty fast without lags, you can even play games on it normally. Another thing it has a built-in biometric scanner, you can use this to login in the pc without typing passwords, just put your finger on the scanner and done!
The keyboard is another interesting stuff, it has a LED blue backlight that fades in and out when you’re using it, this feature can be disabled in the bios settings.

The only downside of this pc is the battery, it don’t last that long, using the default battery it will last around 2 hours only, unless you get the bigger battery.
This pc is so advanced that I have to tell you about the charger plug, once you plug it on the outlet the plug turns green.

Now the charger stand, this a good stand because you can use it while you’re charging it, it has the feature called
(“OSAIFU-KEITAI” but sadly this only works in Japan, it’s a system used to pay stuff on the internet throw the cellphone in Japan.)
Ok back to the charger stand, it has a monitor input, 3 USB ports, 1 LAN, S400 port, A/V out, and the charger input.

Overview: I think it’s a great pc to travel, it feels a little heavy and good on the hands. The built quality is extreme good. But now it’s 2012 we got smartphones, android phones, ipad etc… It’s much smallar and can fit in your pocket and the price is much lower than $1600. But anyway your not going to find this Micro PC available to buy anymore, it’s too old already and if you find one your lucky!
